Terms of Service
Last updated October 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of Mirror, the Mac app, and this website (together, “Mirror”). By downloading, installing, or buying Mirror, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Mirror.
1. Beta software
Mirror is in beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and you may run into bugs. Keep backups and use version control for any project you open in Mirror.
2. Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Mirror for personal or commercial work, subject to these terms.
- Free gives you the core features of Mirror at no cost, with the limits described on our website.
- Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro features. It is not a subscription and has no recurring fee.
You may not resell, sublicense, or share your license key, or reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent the licensing of Mirror, except where the law expressly allows it.
3. Purchases and payment
Orders are processed by our reseller, Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, sales tax or VAT, and invoices. Polar’s terms also apply to your purchase.
Prices are shown on our website at checkout. The early-bird price is limited to the first 200 licenses; after that, the regular price applies. We may change prices for future purchases, but never for a license you have already bought.
4. Activation and devices
A Pro license covers one Mac at a time. Activating it requires an internet connection. If you switch computers, deactivate Mirror on the old Mac and activate it on the new one. You can manage your license at any time from the link you receive after purchase.
5. Updates
Your Pro license is perpetual: the version you buy keeps working forever. Pro includes Pro updates, such as new Pro features and improvements to Pro tools, as described at the time of purchase. Both Free and Pro receive critical updates, such as security and stability fixes, for as long as you use Mirror.
6. Refunds
If Mirror doesn’t fit your workflow, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund you in full. Once refunded, the license is deactivated. This doesn’t limit any rights you have under consumer protection law.
7. Your projects and data
You own your projects, code, designs, and any content you create with Mirror. Your projects stay on your Mac. Mirror connects to the internet only to activate your license, check for and download updates, and reach the AI agent you choose to use.
8. AI agents and third-party services
Mirror works with AI agents and services you connect yourself. Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms, privacy policies, and pricing, and you are responsible for your accounts and any costs with them. Content you send to an agent is processed by that provider, not by us.
Code and changes are written by your AI agent, and results depend on the model. Review every change before you ship it. You are responsible for the code you accept and for how you use it.
9. Acceptable use
Use Mirror only with products, websites, and code you are allowed to access and modify, and in compliance with applicable laws. Don’t use Mirror to infringe others’ rights, to access systems without permission, or to distribute malware.
10. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or bug reports, we may use them to improve Mirror without any obligation to you.
11. Our intellectual property
Mirror, its code, design, logo, and name belong to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms don’t give you any rights to them beyond the license above.
12. No warranty
Mirror is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that Mirror will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will work with every product or AI agent.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, code, profits, or business arising from your use of Mirror. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Mirror in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
14. Termination
You can stop using Mirror at any time. We may suspend or revoke your license if you materially breach these terms, for example by sharing or reselling your license key. Sections 7 and 10–13 survive termination.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Mirror evolves. We’ll post the new version on this page and update the date above. If you keep using Mirror after a change, you accept the updated terms. Changes never reduce the rights of a license you have already bought.
